Kelly Clarkson is giving Taylor Swift some advice on how to handle her music battle with Scooter Braun, and it is an excellent one.
The American Idol alum is definitely Team Swift In the saga. Clarkson used social media to share her brilliant idea with Swift, as well as all of their millions of followers.
“@taylorswift13 just a thought, U should go in & re-record all the songs that U don’t own the masters on exactly how U did them but put brand new art & some kind of incentive so fans will no longer buy the old versions. I’d buy all of the new versions just to prove a point,” The Voice Coach Tweeted.

Swift is currently in the middle of a battle against Braun after his company bought Big Machine Records. The record company is the one that helped thrust the ‘Love Story’ singer to stardom. However, she left the label last year after she was not given the opportunity to buy the masters to her music.
“Former Big Machine label head Scott Borchetta never gave Taylor Swift an opportunity to purchase her masters, or the label, outright with a check in the way he is now apparently doing for others,” Swift’s lawyer Donald Passman shared with People magazine.
Braun purchasing the record label means he now owns the masters to some of Swifts biggest hits and she is not happy about it.
The signer shared in a lengthily Tumbler message her disgust and heartbreak over a “manipulative bully” owning her songs. Swift’s words were the beginning of a nasty feud that has celebrities taking sides, even though Brawn has not yet responded to her statement.
Clarkson is the latest famous face to support Swift. Twitter is here for her idea too. The comments section quickly filled up with praise for the ‘Piece by Piece’ singer.
